Hi friends, here are some findings about the music origins at Middle ages. After the collapse of the Roman Empire in the 5th century AD, Western Europe entered a time known as "The Dark Ages". This is the period when invading hordes of Vandals, Huns, and Visigoths overran Europe. These years were marked by constant warfare, the absence of a Holy Roman Emperor, and the virtual disappearance of urban life. Over the next next nine centuries, the newly emerging Christian Church came to dominate Europe, administering justice, instigating "Holy" Crusades against the East, establishing Universities, and generally dictating the destiny of music, art, and literature. It was during this time that Pope Gregory I is generally believed to have collected and codified the music known as Gregorian Chant, which was the approved music of the Church. Much later, the University at Notre Dame in Paris saw the creation of a new kind of music called organum. Secular music was performed throughout Europe by the troubadours and trouvères of France. And it was during these "Middle Ages" that Western culture saw the appearance of the first great name in music, Guillaume de Machaut.

In 19 steps film kamal comes as her martial arts teacher from whom she learns ’Kalari’. Happy over the way this film has shaped up and directing her dad for the first time, Soundarya has plans to release Sultan – The Warrior worldwide. Sources say that with Rajini busy with Endhiran and Soundarya with Goa, the new project she is discussing with the super star about a full length feature film that will have him in the lead could begin only after their respective commitments are completed. Vijay's Vettaikaran

Vijay starrer Vettaikaran was being shot in the AVM Studios and an expensive set, costing around Rs. 3 crores, was erected for the purpose. A few scenes were shot at the sets but the unit was in for a rude shock this morning when they came to know that the sets were badly damaged in a fire accident. With this, the shooting of Vettaikaran has suffered a set back apart from the huge losses incurred by the team.

Main story line of the movie is, a man who comes to the city from his village to achieve his goals where he takes the role of the hunter. Here in this movie, Vijay starts of his life in a very smooth manner at the start, but circumstances and situations divulged him to other path. At the end whether Vijay’s wish to become a police officer is fulfilled or not? is the story. All the ingredients needed for a commercial movie are included in this movie and every aspect of the movie has been gelled perfectly for a formula movie. This film will not only satisfy Vijay fans but will also satisfy all cinema lovers. The main plus of this movie is Vijay’s comedy. In those comedy scenes Vijay has done extremely well that cameraman and myself were laughing on the sets without cutting the scene. After Rajini only Vijay has the charm to do both natural comedy and action sequences. There has been talk’s about Vijay sir’s entry into politics but in this movie there is not even a shade of politics.

But the good news to vijay fans is Vettaikaran movie will be released this diwali. Vijay’s Vettaikaran and Surya’s ‘Aadhavan’ are releasing on this Diwali as Diwali bonus.

Vijay has completed 70 percent of his film vettaikaran and it is targeted to release on Diwali. Then his next 50th golden jubilee film, Urimai kural is targeted for May 2010.

Waste Prevention:

This is a key factor in any waste management strategy. If we can reduce the amount of waste generated in the first place and reduce its hazardousness by reducing the presence of dangerous substances in products, then disposing of it will automatically become simpler. Waste prevention is closely linked with improving manufacturing methods and influencing consumers to demand greener products and less packaging.

Recycling:

If waste cannot be prevented, as many of the materials as possible should be recovered, preferably by recycling. The European Commission has defined several specific ‘waste streams’ for priority attention, the aim being to reduce their overall environmental impact. This includes packaging waste, end-of-life vehicles, batteries, electrical and electronic waste. EU directives now require Member States to introduce legislation on waste collection, reuse, recycling and disposal of these waste streams. Several EU countries are already managing to recycle over 50% of packaging waste.

Improving Final Disposal:

Where possible, waste that cannot be recycled or reused should be safely incinerated, with landfill only used as a last resort. Both these methods need close monitoring because of their potential for causing severe environmental damage. The EU has recently approved a directive setting strict guidelines for landfill management. It bans certain types of waste, such as used tyres, and sets targets for reducing quantities of biodegradable rubbish. Another recent directive lays down tough limits on emission levels from incinerators. The Union also wants to reduce emissions of dioxins and acid gases such as nitrogen oxides (NO_x), sulphur dioxides (SO₂), and hydrogen chlorides (HCL), which can be harmful to human health.

Dhanush acting in remake of Rajini's Maapillai

After Polladhavan and Padikkathavan, Dhanush is going to remake yet another superstar blockbuster Mappillai as his next project.Rajinikanth’s real life mapillai (Son-in-law), Dhanush is expeced to star in the remake of the former’s film Mapillai. Rajinikanth’s film Mappillai that hit the screens roughly a couple of decades ago and it was one of the biggest blockbusters of Rajini, produced by Telugu mega star Chiranjeevi and it had the gorgeous looking Amala as Rajini’s pair and Sri Vidya as his mother in law. The film sources say, it will be produced by Hitesh Jabhak. Suraj, who had directed Dhanush in Padikathavan, is expected to wield the megaphone.

Dhanush remarked, “I have always loved to remake this film of Rajinikanth and I know that remaking old classics is not easy and by doing so, we are not disrespecting them. There are hundreds of youngsters who have not seen the old movie. If the same story is presented in a different format with improved technology, it will appeal to them.”

Dhanush has requested director Suraaj to rope Nayanthara or Anuska to do Amala’s role. News about the other cast and crew is expected to be out soon. The film will start rolling during the end of September.

Surya gets vijay awards 2009 from kamal hasan for best actor

It was an evening of glamour and glitz at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium of the 3rd Annual Univercell Vijay Awards 2008 that was held here witnessed several popular artists, technicians, movie-makers from the filmdom who graced the ceremony. The grand spectacle unraveled the winners as well as exclusive performance by several film personalities. The Rasigan Express vehicle traveled across the state and collected votes from the public for their favourite stars.

Actor Surya won best actor award for the year 2008 at Univercell Vijay Awards 2008 for his superb performance in the movie Vaaranam Aayiram. It was a special occasion for Surya since he received the award from Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan. Surya’s Vaaranam Aayiram seems had the mass appeal and happened to be the movie of the night, as it bagged three out of five favorite categories which are choosen by tamil movie fans across the state . Vaaranam Aayiram won best film, best director (Gautham Menon) and best song (Anjala) awards.

The audience witnessed to an emotional moment on stage when the heartthrob of youngsters, Suriya won the Best Actor award. Actor Kamal Haasan gave away the prize to him on an emotional note. He stated that the Actor Sivakumar is like a brother to him and so presenting the award to the latter’s son was similar to giving an award to Kamal’s own son. At this Sivakumar broke down and cried. The stage compere Gopi, called upon the whole family of Suriya – Wife Jyothika, his parents – Sivakumar and his wife and brother and actor Karthi. Interestingly, this was the first stage appearance of the star couple, Suriya and Jyothika, since their marriage. Suriya dedicated the award to his wife and parents. Jyothika aired her views on this and said that at present she considers herself as the luckiest girl in the world.

Another notable moment worth to be mentioned is when music composer Harris Jayaraj and Gautham Vasudev Menon shared the stage. Harris Jayaraj received the award for Whirlpool Best Music Director from the latter. The moment evened the crease between both and Gautham Menon promised the audience to expect a movie by him along with Harris Jayaraj in near future.

Rajini watches harry potter

Hi friends, usually reclusive Superstar Rajinikanth watched a special show of Harry Potter with his fans at the Satyam Theatres with his daughter Soundarya. This special show gains significance since usually Rajini watches the premiere shows of latest movies in the Four Frames theatre, Nungambakkam with his family and friends.
However, when he was invited to the Harry Potter premiere by the Satyam authorities, he immediately nodded consent instructing the theatre authorities to let the public watch the movie with him. The show went well and he was given a red-carpet welcome by Satyam on arrival. Evnthough his age is too old he is much young to evryone and this can be understood on his arrival for the movie Harry Potter.
